At South Shore Support Services we believe the people we serve are of the utmost importance. It is essential that we safeguard their human and civil rights, as guided by the Dept of Developmental Services, we provide guidance through a Human Rights Committee. Our Human Rights Committee reviews all incident reports, protocols and policies.
The Committee is made up of all volunteers who include a person we serve, a master’s level clinician, a medical expert, a legal expert and community folks. They meet at least 5 times a year with the meeting being facilitated by our Human Rights Coordinator.
We welcome people to join us or contact our Human Rights Coordinator at 781-331-7870.
